COVID-19 Safety
Keeping you safe from COVID-19 is our first and highest priority.
Step One: Asking anyone who is not feeling well or has had possible exposure to COVID-19 to stay home.
Step Two: Proper ventilation; most days we have our bay door open (Weather permitting) and utilize several high velocity fans (Including a 7' foot wingspan Big Ass Fan) to constantly move massive amounts of air. Checkout this article on the importance of proper ventilation to limit the spread of COVID-19.
Step Three: We encourage everyone entering the facility to practice appropriate social distancing as recommended by the Centers For Disease Control And Prevention (CDC).
Step Five: We have invested in the best sanitization products on the market, including Gym Wipes by 2XL. We have setup several sanitization stations and require all athletes to properly sanitize all equipment prior to putting it away or leaving the facility.
Step Six: We have temporarily discontinued our towel service. We know there is nothing better than picking up a freshly laundered hand towel before your workout. However to keep everyone safe we must put this program on pause. You can still purchase your own SoWal CrossFit® embroidered hand-towel in the gym or on-line here.
Step Seven: Our coaching staff constantly cleans and sanitizes the facility and all gym equipment.
We are doing everything we can to protect you, but there still is an ASSUMPTION OF THE RISK. To enter our facility you must acknowledge and understand the following...
1. Participation includes possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to COVID-19. While particular rules and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness and death does exist;
2. You knowingly and freely assume all such risks related to illness and infectious diseases, such as COVID-19, even if arising from the negligence or fault of the Released Parties; and
3. You hereby knowingly assume the risk of injury, harm and loss associated with the Activity, including any injury, harm and loss caused by the negligence, fault or conduct of any kind on the part of the Released Parties.
